The Lab were I work signed on a new client by the name of Dr McKay! (and the old codger is very Scottish and pronouces his name differently McKie or something)

Its a sad state of affairs that these insignifcant little things can put a smile on my face for the rest of the day......then again I may just be repressing the fact that the terror inducing pain filled horror that is the staff christmas party is on Saturday ......oh god I'm a white woman with no rhythm ... my dancing has been likened to a seizure....there is only one thing for it I'm getting totally sloshed!

Hello my name is marysue and I'm stargateaholic...the obessive/compulsive checking and rechecking of your favourite fan sites and the like.) which got me thinking of my previous fandoms of choice the ones that once upon a time had me hitting the old refresh button every five minutes.. So I'm taking a trip down memory lane over the next while I'm going to revisit some old friends...

my first memorable fandom was StarWars I mean who didn't run around the school yard and pretend to be a rebel...sigh I remember a huge hissy fit because I was forced to be Leia as I was the only girl and I wanted to be Han Solo since Luke was too wimpy... oh how young and foolish I was .....1984 brought V ah the visitors....Even now I cant watch that scene where Diana was eating the gerbil with out wincing... and the whole Charles and Diana thing... hmm I wonder if there was a Camilia back home for him.....lets go back to 1987 and good ole ST:TNG ah the fandom that brought my first shipper squee.. good ole Deanna and Riker....god I loved the Peter David books he sure could write Troi/Riker and it was even canon! God there were so many...Robin of Sherwood, Young Riders, Highlander, Babylon 5, Sharpe, Dr Quinn, Sliders, Buffy, Twin Peaks, Northern Exposure, American Gothic, Casualty (the Matt and Jude years), X files, Lost, and bringing us up to date with my current drug of choice SGA.
